SUMMARY:Introducing Cloud-Native Supercomputing: Bare-Metal, Secured Super
 computing Architecture
DESCRIPTION:Exhibitor Forum\n\nIntroducing Cloud-Native Supercomputing: Ba
 re-Metal, Secured Supercomputing Architecture\n\nShainer, Hamilton\n\nHigh
-performance computing and artificial intelligence have evolved to be the
primary data processing engines for wide commercial use, hosting a variety
of users and applications. While providing the highest performance, super
computers must also offer multi-tenancy security. Therefore they need to b
e designed as cloud-native platforms. The key element that enables this ar
chitecture is the data processing unit (DPU). DPU is a fully integrated da
ta-center-on-a-chip platform that can manage the data center operating sys
tem instead of the host processor, enabling security and orchestration of
the supercomputer. This architecture enables supercomputing platforms to d
eliver bare-metal performance, while natively supporting multi-node tenant
isolation. The combination of NVIDIA GPU, DPU and networking technologies
delivers breakthrough performance resulting in faster insights and dramat
ically lower costs.\n\nTag: Cloud and Distributed Computing, Heterogeneous
