SUMMARY:Software Engineering and Reuse in Modeling, Simulation, and Data A
 nalytics for Science and Engineering
DESCRIPTION:Birds of a Feather\n\nSoftware Engineering and Reuse in Modeli
ng, Simulation, and Data Analytics for Science and Engineering\n\nBernhold
t, Dubey, Eisty, Gesing, Gupta...\n\nSoftware engineering (SWE) for modeli
ng, simulation, and data analytics for computational science and engineeri
ng (CSE) is challenging, with ever-more sophisticated, higher fidelity sim
ulation of ever-larger, more complex problems involving larger data volume
s, more domains, and more researchers. Targeting both commodity and custom
high-end computers multiplies these challenges. We invest significantly i
n creating these codes, but rarely talk about that experience; we just foc
us on the results.\n\nWe seek to raise awareness of SWE for CSE on superco
mputers as a major challenge, and develop an international “community of p
ractice” to continue these important discussions outside of workshops and
other “traditional” venues.\n\nTag: Online Only, Computational Science, So
