Wei Zhang
Biography
Dr. Wei Zhang graduated from the Department of Computer Science at Texas Tech University (TTU). His research interests include distributed data management, metadata management, graph partitioning, and storage resource management. Additionally, he also had experience participating in cross-disciplinary geo-spatial data mining research. He currently serves as the adjunct research scientists in the Data-Intensive Scalable Computing Laboratory (DISCL) at Texas Tech University. Before joining Texas Tech University, he had 7 years of industrial experience in building large-scale distributed back-end services for Internet applications, including Weibo.com, t.cn, etc.
