Justin Gottschlich
Justin Gottschlich is a Principal AI Scientist and the Director & Founder of Machine Programming Research at Intel Labs and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania. From 2017-2020, Justin was the Principal Investigator of the joint Intel/NSF CAPA research center. In 2017, he co-founded the ACM SIGPLAN Machine Programming Symposium (MAPS) and currently serves as its Steering Committee Chair. He also serves on three technical advisory boards at MIT, Penn, and Intel. In 2022, he will be the Principal Investigator of Intel’s Machine Programming Research Center. Justin’s primary research focus area is in machine programming (MP), which aims to automate software development using both stochastic and deterministic techniques. Justin has 35+ publications and 150+ patents (issued or pending). He completed his PhD at the University of Colorado-Boulder in 2011 and is the founder of Nodeka, LLC, where he’s written 500k+ lines of C++ developing the company’s software.
