Brian Gravelle received his BS in Computer Engineering from Gonzaga University in 2015. He is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Oregon. Since 2018 he has been working as an intern with Los Alamos National Laboratory. His research focuses on performance analysis of high-performance computing (HPC) applications, with particular focus on empirical analysis of scientific applications and how to improve the portability of such analysis. When not working on his PhD, Brian enjoys hiking, reading, and trying to play Allman Brothers songs on guitar.
