Brian Homerding received his B.A. in Urban Planning from University of Illinois, and his master in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University. He is currently a Ph.D. student at Northwestern University, advised by Prof. Simone Campanoni, while being a Performance Engineer at Argonne National Laboratory in the Leadership Computing Facility. His research interests include high-performance computing as well as parallelizing compilers for both homogeneous and heterogeneous computing.
