Norman Bourassa is a facilities & energy management engineer at NERSC, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL). In 2000, with private sector energy engineer experience, Mr. Bourassa joined LBNL and began commercial building systems and computer simulation research. In 2005, he worked 5 years at the California Energy Commission, Public Interest Energy Research (PIER) Buildings End-use Energy Efficiency Program, then returned to LBNL in 2010. Beginning in 2017 he began sharing his time with NERSC, where he now works fulltime.
Mr. Bourassa has degrees in Architecture (University of California, Berkeley) and Electronics Engineering Technology (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, Edmonton, Alberta).
