Neil Mehta is a NESAP postdoctoral researcher in the Application Performance Group (APG) at the National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center (NERSC), LBL. His research interests include performance optimization of particle-based codes, in particular molecular dynamics, and the development of hybrid C++ Python codes. He is a member of the Exaalt ECP project and has worked on the performance analysis of LAMMPS MD toolkit. Dr. Mehta received his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in December 2019.
