Dr. Venkata Krishnan is a Principal Engineer at Intel Corporation where he focuses on various aspects of microprocessor architecture and data center/HPC networking. He also leads the COPA project that enables a scalable FPGA computing model. He holds a B.Tech from IIT Madras and a PhD from Univ. of Illinois in Computer Science. Prior to joining Intel, he was a fellow at AMD, research scientist at DEShaw research and CTO of Dolphin Interconnect. He has also served as member/chair of SIG technical committees/panels and conference program committees.
