Biography
Lenny Oliker is a senior scientist and group lead of the performance and algorithms group (PAR) in the computer science department. His research interests focus on performance optimization, evaluation, and modeling on leading high-end computing systems. Lenny has published over 150 peer-reviewed publications, including 6 best paper awards. He is the deputy of the SciDAC5 RAPIDS2 institute for computer science and data, and is the executive director of the ECP Exabiome project, which aims to develop the world’s fastest genome assembly and analysis algorithms.
