Biography
Stefan M. Wild received B.S. and M.S. degrees in applied mathematics from the University of Colorado in 2003 and a Ph.D. degree in operations research from Cornell University in 2009. He is a senior computational mathematician and director of LANS, the Laboratory for Applied Mathematics, Numerical Software, and Statistics, at Argonne National Laboratory. He is a Senior Fellow in the Northwestern-Argonne Institute of Science and Engineering at Northwestern University. His research interests include the development of formulations, algorithms, and software for challenging mathematical optimization problems.
