Fabian Knorr is a PhD student at the University of Innsbruck, Austria. He completed his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Passau, Germany, in 2018, specializing in search-based artificial intelligence for traditional card games. Currently, he is involved in the Celerity and LIGATE projects in Innsbruck, developing methods for accelerator-cluster runtime systems. Fabian's research focuses on data compression algorithms with an outlook on API design, low-level performance optimization and GPU computing.
