Rahul Bale is a researcher at the Center for Computational Science, RIKEN, in Kobe, Japan. He received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University in 2013. He worked as a postdoc at RIKEN Advanced Institute for Computational Science between 2014-2019. Since 2020 he holds a visiting lecturer position at the Graduate School of System Informatics, Kobe University. His research interests include Fluid-Structure interaction, biofluiddynamics, combustion, airborne disease transmission and High Performance Computing.
