Biography
Guangwen Yang is a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology, and the Beijing National Research Center for Information Science and Technology, at Tsinghua University, China. He is also the director of the National Supercomputing Center in Wuxi, China. His research interests include parallel algorithms, cloud computing, machine learning, and the earth system, model. Yang has a Ph.D. in computer science from Harbin Institute of Technology. He has been awarded the ACM Gordon Bell Prize (2016, 2017). He is a member of IEEE.
