Biography
Scott is Senior Product Manager at Achronix focused on SmartNIC acceleration. Since his baptism on the altar of the TRS-80, Scott has been a lifelong technology evangelist. He's written profitable software products for Apple's App Store, built hardware, and formally managed programs for IBM, NEC, Myricom, Solarflare, Xilinx, and now Achronix. After two decades of plugging along with single socket computing platforms, in 2003, Scott joined NEC to manage their new Intel Itanium multi-core 64-bit Super Computing Server.

In 2005 Scott shifted his focus to clustering for Super Computing and extreme performance networking. As 10GbE adoption ramped up, in 2009, he launched his wildly popular 10GbE.net blog. With market changes in 2017, Scott rolled this property into the TechnologyEvangelist.co. This blog now sees thousands of monthly page views, and the accompanying podcast is growing in success. Scott works with customers and partners to recognize new opportunities and define innovative solutions.
