Makoto Tsubokura is a professor in the Graduate School of System Informatics at the Department of Computational Science in the University of Kobe. His research areas of interest include manufacturing technology (mechanical, electrical/electronic, chemical engineering) and Fluid engineering. He is a recipient of multiple research awards including in 2018 when he received the T. Kawai Medal from the Japan Society for Computational Engineering and Science. Prof. Tsubokura is an author of over 200 peer-reviewed scientific papers and numerous books on the topics of his research.
