DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled ETL Developer to transform large volumes of data signals into actionable data that is timely and efficient to make decisions on. You will be responsible for implementing transformations, monitoring discrepancies, responding to alerts, addressing anomalies, and ultimately grooming the data that we use for critical business decisions. You will be joining an environment that encourages intellectual curiosity, creative discourse, collaborative autonomy and challenging yourself and the status quo. You will work under the direction of our Data Architect. You will be collaborating with colleagues who are highly intelligent, curious and ambitious engineers, and who want to work with and learn from other high-caliber individuals.
Job Functions:
-Design stable, reliable and effective databases and ETL/ELT transformations
-Optimize and maintain existing database systems
-Modify database and transformations according to requests and perform tests
-Solve database useage issues and malfunctions
-Provide data management support to users
-Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements
-Be part of a team that responds to priority alerts for data quality issues

Requirements-Bachelors in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
-Extensive knowledge of database systems and SQL (especially warehouse platforms like Redshift or Snowflake)
-1-3 years ETL Development Experience (Talend is a plus, but other tools like Informatica, Pentaho, DBT, etc. are acceptable). Note: Running off and learning Talend before interviewing is a fine strategy!
-Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems
-Strong communication, documentation and collaboration skills
