Ruslan Shaydulin
Biography
Ruslan Shaydulin is a Maria Goeppert Mayer fellow at Argonne National Laboratory. He has received his PhD in Computer Science from Clemson University in 2020 and B.S. in Applied Mathematics and Physics from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in 2016. Prior to joining Argonne, he has interned at NASA Ames and IBM Research. His research centers around the challenges of utilizing noisy intermediate-scale quantum processors for practical problems, with the focus on optimization. Ruslan has co-organized a number of tutorials on quantum optimization, including at SIAM PP20, IEEE Quantum Week and at Argonne National Laboratory.
