Yuping Fan is a seventh year doctoral student in computer science at Illinois Institute of Technology. She is a research assistant under the supervision of Dr. Zhiling Lan at Illinois Institute of Technology and Dr. Michael Papka at Argonne National Laboratory. Her research focuses on resource management and job scheduling on high performance computing systems. She is particularly interested in leveraging advanced machine learning and optimization methods to intelligently schedule HPC applications. She will graduate at the end of this year and will join Facebook after graduation.
