Shreyas Ananthan is currently employed as a Lead Data Scientist at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy's Digital Ventures Lab. Prior to joining SGRE, he was a Senior Scientist at NREL and, in this role, was the technical lead developer for the ExaWind wind farm modeling and simulation stack. His responsibilities included development of overset algorithms for wind farm modeling and transitioning the codebase to next-generation exascale platforms, particularly targeting GPU architectures.
