Dr. Andy Hock is the Vice President of Product at Cerebras Systems, where he leads the definition, development, and strategy for hardware, software, and machine learning research features behind Cerebras’ revolutionary Wafer-Scale Engine (WSE) deep learning processor and CS-2 system. Andy’s background is in physics for image and signal processing. Before Cerebras, he was a Product Lead for data platform and products at Google, Senior Director of Advanced Technologies at Skybox Imaging, Senior Technical Program Manager and Senior Scientist at Arete Associates. He has a BA from Colgate University, and a PhD and MS in Geophysics and Space Physics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
