Biography
Kaylea Nelson is a research computing facilitator at the Yale Center for Researcher Computing, where she provides support to researchers using Yale's HPCs. Her background is in computational cosmology, which she studied as a PhD student in the Astronomy Department at Yale. Kaylea is also the Co-Program manager of the CAREERS Cyberteam, which provides computational support to researchers at small and mid-sized institutions. Students interested in the RCF job role engage in experiential learning projects under the guidance of volunteer mentors to provide assistance to the researchers.
