Naveed is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at the University of Kansas (KU. He is working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at KU. He teaches Digital Systems Design and Digital Logic Design labs. His research is focused on quantum computing, emulation of quantum algorithms on reconfigurable architectures, and high-level synthesis techniques for FPGAs. His publication record includes several peer-reviewed IEEE and ACM journals and conferences including Supercomputing (SC), International Conference on Rebooting Computing (ICRC), and System-on-Chip Conference (SOCC).
