Biography
Shu Yin received his BS in Communication Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology (WUT) in 2006 and his MS degree in Signal and Information Processing from WUT in 2008. He received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Auburn University in 2012. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor/ Research Scientist in the School of Information Science and Technology at ShanghaiTech University, China. Prior to joining ShanghaiTech University in 2016, he had been an assistant professor and an associate professor at Hunan University for four years. His research interests include storage systems, reliability modeling, fault tolerance, energy-efficient computing, high-performance computing, and wireless communications.
