Yiheng Xu is a second-year Ph.D. student at the University of Maryland, College Park. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Applied Math at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Now he is doing research advised by Dr. Abhinav Bhatele in the HPC area. His current focus is Parallel I/O optimizations and Parallel File Systems. He did an internship at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in Summer 2021 on performance tool optimizations. He did an internship at the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Science in Summer 2019 on FFT library optimizations.
