Abdullah Al Mamun is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno. His research interests encompass energy-efficient blockchain systems, distributed systems, databases, and the internet of things. He obtained his M.Sc. with a double degree with the Premio Di Merito award in computer science jointly from the University of Trento, Italy, and RWTH Aachen University, Germany. He was a recipient of the Summa Cum Laude upon completion of B.Sc. from American International University Bangladesh. He worked at MokaBlox LLC and Lawrence Berkeley National Lab.
