Dr. Talitha Washington is the Director of the Atlanta University Center Data SCience Initiative and a Professor of Mathematics at Clark Atlanta University. As Director, she oversees and provides strategic direction of data science across Clark Atlanta University, Moorehouse School of Medicine, and Spelman College to increase the number of African Americans with expertise in data science. Dr. Washington is a former Program Director at the National Science Foundation and a Fellow of the American Mathematical Society and the Association for Women in Mathematics.
