Haikun Liu is a professor of computer science and engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in China. He received his Ph.D. degree in computer engineering from HUST in 2012. He was the recipient of outstanding doctoral dissertation award in Hubei province, China. Liu worked at Nanyang Technological University between 2013 and 2014, and as a visiting scholar at Wayne State University between 2009 and 2010. His current research interests include in-memory computing, cloud computing, and distributed systems.
