Vali Sorell
Biography
Vali has more than 35 years of HVAC Engineering experience, more than 20 of which have been committed exclusively to the design, commissioning, and controls of mission critical facilities. He has been responsible for developing concepts and innovations on a wide range of data center projects across multiple market sectors. He has authored many technical papers on best practices in mission critical design, and has spoken at numerous industry conferences such as ASHRAE, 7x24 Exchange, and DataCenterDynamics.
Over many years, Vali has worked with industry end-users and vendors interested in transitioning to liquid cooled IT technologies.
Vali is a voting member of ASHRAE Technical Committee 9.9, Vice Chair of ASHRAE SSPC 90.4, and is President of the 7x24 Exchange Carolinas Chapter.
Vali has a B.Sc. degree in genetics from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, and a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Columbia University in New York, NY.
