Trokon Johnson is a doctoral candidate at the University of Florida. His research focuses on performance modeling and simulation of high performance compute systems. He has done work with benchmarking automation and optimization of HPC applications on various systems.

His dissertation work focus on modeling the performance of HPC systems under different fault scenarios, and currently he is investigating incorporating fault injection and simulation capabilities into an existing coarse-grained simulator
