Andrew Hobbs is the Head of Simulation and Modeling at ASTEC Industries where he leads a team of simulation experts performing CFD, FEA, and DEM to support engineering teams across ASTEC’s varied product line. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is very slowly working toward a PhD at the University of Edinburgh. Andrew lives in Sheffield, England with his wife, two children, and their golden retriever.
