Biography
Lillian Chong is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Pittsburgh. She earned a B.S. in Chemistry at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Ph.D. in Biophysics with Prof. Peter Kollman from the University of California in San Francisco, and completed her postdoctoral work with Prof. Vijay Pande at Stanford University and Dr. William Swope at the IBM Almaden Research Center. She is the recipient of a Silicon Therapeutics Fellowship, National Science Foundation CAREER Award, Carnegie Science Emerging Female Scientist Award, and Hewlett-Packard Outstanding Junior Faculty Award.
