Rudi Eigenmann
Biography
Rudolf (Rudi) Eigenmann is a professor at the University of Delaware, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. From 1995 to 2017 he was at Purdue University. From 2013-2017, he also served as Program Director in the National Science Foundation's Office of Advanced Cyberinfrastructure. His core research interests include optimizing compilers, programming methodologies, tools, and performance evaluation for high-performance computing, as well as the design of cyberinfrastructure. Dr. Eigenmann is an IEEE Fellow. He has published his work in over 180 papers. His Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science is from ETH Zurich, Switzerland.
