Samuel George received a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2013. Post graduation, he worked in the lab of Doctor Channing Der at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the Lineberger Cancer center. During that time he worked on targeted therapies to treat pancreatic cancer. In 2018 he began attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Postgraduate Research Assistant in computer science under Doctor Prasun Dewan. He has since received his Master’s Degree in Computer Science and is currently working on his PhD. His research during his postgraduate career has focused on enhancing learning of computer science.
