Rong Ge

Biography
Dr. Rong Ge is Associate Professor in the School of Computing at Clemson University. Her research interests include parallel and distributed systems, machine learning and big data, heterogeneous computing, performance evaluation, and optimization. She received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in engineering mechanics from Tsinghua University, in 1995 and 1998, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from Virginia Tech, in 2007. Dr. Ge is a recipient of the NSF Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Award in 2015. She co-directs the Scalable Computing and Analytics Lab with Dr. Xizhou Feng.
