Yonghong Yan

Biography
Dr. Yonghong Yan is an associate professor from University of North Carolina at Charlotte, a member of OpenMP Architectural Review Board and the OpenMP Language committee. His research areas include parallel and high performance computing, parallel programming models, compiler technology and parallel runtime systems and computer architectures and systems. He has been working extensively on multiple compiler projects, including OpenMP and OpenACC compilers based on Open64, and the Habanero-C (X10-dialect) compiler and PACE compiler based on ROSE/LLVM. Dr. Yan received 2017 NSF CAREER award to address the programming challenges of emerging memory systems. Dr. Yan received his PhD from University of Houston.
