Mary Hall

Biography
Mary Hall is Director and Professor in the University of Utah School of Computing. She is also Director of the newly-established Utah Center for Inclusive Computing, which aims to increase the percentage of students receiving undergraduate computing degrees from populations that are underrepresented in the computing field. She is involved in several other efforts nationally and within her institution and local community to broaden participation in computing. Prof. Hall conducts research at the intersection of high-performance computing and programming systems. She is an IEEE Fellow, an ACM Distinguished Scientist, and a member of the Computing Research Association Board of Directors.
