Irina Sagert has completed her Ph.D in physics at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. She then moved to the US and had postdoctoral research positions at Michigan State University and Indiana University. In 2015, Irina joined the Los Alamos National Laboratory as a Director's Postdoctoral Fellow. Since 2018, she works as a staff scientist in the Computational Physics and Methods group. Irina's research is focused on computational astrophysics and plasma physics.
