Marcus Wagner
Biography
Dr. Marcus Wagner is an Application Engineer at Hewlett Packard
Enterprise, CORAL-2 Centers of Excellence. For 10 years at Cray,
porting, tuning and benchmarking large scale applications on
various hardware platforms, his work focussed on climate
applications and involved teaching courses on performance
optimization in Japan, South Korea, Canada, and in the US.
Earlier, at IBM, he did software development for 3 years and
HPC for 9 years with emphasis on bioinformatics. Prior work
at the NCSA involved Path Integral Monte Carlo Simulations
of superfluid Helium and in Germany electronic structure
calculations of semiconductor surfaces.
