Heidi has more than 25 years of experience in HPC, and has worked closely with technical leadership within the industry to understand large-scale application performance and developer needs. As a developer, she helped users extract performance from systems while designing, developing, and porting distributed and shared memory programming model software on many HPC platforms. While at Cray, Heidi led the Cray performance tools team for over 13 years, focusing on delivering scalable, easy-to-use, tools with actionable insight for complex HPC codes, and was the principal designer of Cray's application parallelization assistant, Reveal. At HPE, she led the technical vision and strategic direction for the HPE Cray Programming Environment for all Cray/HPE systems. Most recently, Heidi joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) to help advance HPC computing in the cloud with a focus on emerging technologies that will continue to drive performance for HPC workloads.
