Sheng Shen received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering and minor in Statistics from Iowa State University in 2020. He is currently a Machine Learning Postdoc in the Scientific Data Management group at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL). Before joining LBNL, Sheng Shen served as a machine learning research assistant of the System Reliability and Safety Laboratory and led the development of machine learning-based models for John Deere and Medtronic. Sheng Shen specializes in applying advanced machine learning and deep learning algorithms to real-world applications. He has co-authored seven articles in peer-reviewed journals and six papers in international conferences.
