Estela Suarez

Biography
Dr. Estela Suarez joined JSC in 2010 and her field of research is in HPC system-level architectures including heterogeneous computing resources, such as the Cluster-Booster and the Modular Supercomputing Architectures. She is deputy-lead of JSC's Technology
Department, leading also as Scientific Project Manager the DEEP series of R&D projects (DEEP, DEEP-ER, DEEP-EST), and the co-design work in the European Processor Initiative (EPI). Before joining JSC she studied Astrophysics at the University Complutense of Madrid, from which she obtained her Diploma in 2004. In 2010 she obtained her PhD in Physics from the University of Geneva.
