Oleg Korobkin

Biography
Oleg Korobkin is a researcher at CCS-7 at LANL. He graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in applied physics and a thesis in the field of numerical relativity. His PhD advisor was Erik Schnetter. Oleg subsequently worked as a postdoc in Europe on various aspects of neutron star mergers, kilonovae and the rapid neutron capture (r-process) nucleosynthesis, before joining LANL in 2015. His current interests are in the field of meshfree particle methods for relativistic hydrodynamics and for terrestrial applications.
