Florent Duchaine is currently a researcher at Cerfacs. He earned his Ph.D. in Fluid Dynamics
Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse (France). He served as postdoctoral fellow at Institut de Mecanique des Fluides de Toulouse. His research activities focus on the characterization of turbulent reactive flows occurring in combustion chambers equipping aircraft and helicopter engines. His research interests include a variety of topics: Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Conjugate Heat Transfer (CHT), combustion instabilities, scientific code coupling, massively parallel computations, Large Eddy Simulations (LES), optimization.
