Remote Participation
Margaret is a researcher in Bill Gropp's Lab at the University of Illinois. Her work concentrates on metadata management for large-scale HPC applications, and she organized a BoF at SC19 on this topic titled: “Knowledge Is Power: Unleashing the Potential of Your Archives Through Metadata”. She has also led community discussions on the societal impacts of HPC and organized the SC19 BOF “With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility: Ethics in HPC”. She performed her graduate studies at the University of Illinois where she was a DOE CSGF fellow. She received her Bachelors from Dartmouth College where she was a finalist in the CRA's Outstanding Undergraduate Researchers Award.
