Baskar Ganapathysubramanian
Biography
Baskar Ganapathysubramanian is Anderlik Professor of Engineering at Iowa State University. He received a Ph.D. from Cornell University for work on data-driven approaches for solving stochastic partial differential equations. His research group focuses on scientific computing, applied mathematics, and machine learning with applications in food, energy, water, and health systems. Prof. Ganapathysubramanian’s work has been recognized with several awards including the NSF CAREER award.
