Akihiko Kasagi graduated from Hiroshima University with a PhD in GPU-based algorithm acceleration. He worked on high performance computing at Fujitsu Laboratories, where he worked on HPL acceleration for Oakforest-PACS and ABCI. He has applied massively parallel techniques to deep learning operations, and has been working on world-leading acceleration techniques.
