The Future of HPC Needs You

Participate in Mentor–Protégé Matching
Mentor–Protégé Matching supports the growth of a vibrant HPC community by connecting students with experienced mentors. Students – this is your chance to speak one-on-one with an HPC professional. Gain valuable insights on your career path and guidance in a relaxed setting!
Why Become a Mentor
The Mentor–Protégé program provides the opportunity to forge future talent! Participating is a great way to give back to the SC community and help grow the next general of HPC professionals. You may also help your organization by meeting bright new minds that could be great additions to your team.
Process Overview
Fill out a short survey about your career, interests, and hobbies, as well as your current plans (can be tentative) to attend SC21 in person or remotely. A similar survey is also taken by each protégé. Mentors are matched with a fitting protégé in early September.
In the September–October timeframe, participants who have been matched will meet virtually once a month, given suggested discussion topics and conversation starters.
If you wish, you may also participate in the Speed Mentoring event during SC21 (details to be determined).
